We are looking for an analytics ninja to join our team & harness data to evolve the business. That's why the role involves data science, business analysis, and everything else in between (for example - data analysis and BI).
In the immediate term, you would be developing and assisting with pricing. You'd branch out into other facets over time.
Regarding pricing, the job will essentially entail working with data sets and engaging with customer feedback to continue to develop a model of dynamic pricing across 2 of our main products.
It will include (non-exhaustively):
- Analyze pricing data & synthesise it on BI dashboards
- Develop Forecasts and Models
- Monitor Industry Trends and Analyse Industry Data
- Develop Dynamic Pricing Tools
- Present Findings to Key Decision-Makers
Analytical thinking – successfully examine and assess data from a variety of sources, ranging from competitor pricing data to customer segment profiles and cost data Maths – this role requires excellent mathematical skills to derive insights from multiple data sources and utilize them to develop models and provide pricing advice to decision-makers Team collaboration –work closely with sales, marketing, and operations teams to determine and set prices, so should be strong collaborators and coordinators Financial forecasting –develop a range of forecasts and models to assist decision-makers with setting and modifying prices, including margin forecasts that reflect seasonal and promotional pricing strategies Problem-solving skills – effective problem-solving skills are vital in this role to devise solutions to drive profitability and support revenue and market share goals Communication skills – should also be strong written and verbal communicator
